Before you begin, make sure you have:
- SimpMusic Desktop App: https://www.simpmusic.org/blogs/en/simpmusic-desktop-alpha
- Google Chrome Browser or any other
- SimpMusic Utils Extension: maxrave-dev/utils: A Chrome extension that extracts cookies from YouTube Music and specifically the `sp_dc` parameter from Spotify for SimpMusic client
Detailed Steps
Step 1: Install the "SimpMusic Utils" Extension

Step 2: Log in to Accounts on Your Browser
SimpMusic Utils will get the login information from your browser's session. Therefore, you need to log in to both services, YouTube Music and Spotify.
Make sure you are successfully logged in and can access your personal content (like playlists) on both websites.
Step 3: Get Login Data from the Extension and paste to the app
- Open SimpMusic desktop app first, go to Settings -> Log in to YouTube -> Click to the dev button on the right corner
- Open SimpMusic Utils extension, click Extract Cookies, both String and Netscape format
- Back to the app, paste them
- Done! (the Spotify same)
